Shopping - Before grocery shopping, make a list and only buy what is on the list. Buy in bulk when possible.

Credit Cards - Cancel unnecessary credit cards. Focus on reducing credit card balances until you are able to pay them off in full each month. Use credit cards that don't charge annual fees. (Even better, use cards that pay you a percentage of each purchase.)

Fast Food - Avoid fast food restaurants. It is much more expensive than preparing your own meals (and usually less healthy too!)

Entertainment - Instead of forking over your hard earned cash to movie theaters or for movie rentals, try checking out movies from the library. They have music CDs too.
